Otheryia Update Series — Part 2

Economy Buffs & Progression Improvements

Part 2 of the Otheryia Update Series is all about one core goal: making progression feel more rewarding and your time more respected. We’ve rolled out a wide set of economy buffs and reward improvements across the server to ensure that every activity—whether you’re hunting, completing tasks, or climbing leaderboards—feels worthwhile.

💰 Economy Buffs Across the Server

We’ve significantly increased money rewards from several core systems to better match the time and effort players put in.

What’s been buffed:

• Hunts
  Money rewards from hunts have been increased to make hunting a more profitable and attractive activity.

• Tasks
  Task payouts have been buffed across the board.
  We’re also working on a visual revamp so task rewards are clearly displayed before you accept them, helping you make more informed choices about what to take on.

• PokeSell Improvements
  You can now sell more Pokémon before diminishing returns apply.
  The soft cap has been increased from 25 → 50, allowing longer sell sessions to remain profitable and making farming sessions feel more worthwhile.

🎁 Daily Rewards Buffed

Daily rewards have been improved to make logging in each day feel more impactful and rewarding.

Daily rewards now include:

• More money

• Better shiny chances

• Improved modifiers

If you’ve been skipping dailies, now’s the time to start claiming them—these buffs stack up quickly over time and provide steady progression.

🎒 Kits Revamp & Buffs

Kits have been reworked to be more generous and more useful at every stage of progression.

What’s changed:

• Kits are now split into Daily and Weekly

• You can claim your rank’s kits and all kits below your rank

• The Starting Kit now includes a Plushie Key, giving new players a fun bonus to kick off their journey

These changes are designed to smooth out early-game progression while making rank progression feel consistently rewarding.

🏆 Leaderboard Rewards Buffed

Competitive play is now more rewarding than ever.

Leaderboard improvements:

• Weekly leaderboards now pay out more money

• Monthly leaderboards now pay out more money

• Monthly leaderboards now also include modifiers as additional rewards

If you enjoy pushing the leaderboards, this update makes the grind significantly more worthwhile.

🎲 Crate Buffs

All crates have received buffs to improve overall reward flow and long-term progression.

New crate behavior:

• Every crate now has a chance to drop a key for the crate tier below it

This creates more opportunities to chain rewards, gradually work your way up the crate tiers, and get more value out of each opening over time.

This update is another step in Otheryia’s ongoing server overhaul. Our long-term goal is to make progression smoother, rewards more meaningful, and every hour you spend on the server feel properly valued.

More quality-of-life improvements, balance passes, and new systems are already in development.
