Otheryia Update Series — Part 1

A New Era of Server Improvements Begins

We’re kicking off a major wave of improvements across Otheryia. This update marks the beginning of a broader series of revamps designed to make progression more rewarding, ranks more meaningful, and long-term goals more satisfying. This is just the start of what’s coming.

✨ Shiny Exchange Is Now Live

The Shiny Exchange system has officially launched, giving you a new long-term progression path for transforming your Pokémon into shinies.

• 35 Shinies → 1 Shiny Token
  Convert any regular Pokémon into its shiny form.

• 200 Shinies → 1 Legendary Shiny Token
  Works on Paradox Pokémon, Ultra Beasts, and Legendaries.

This system is fully progression-based. The grind is intentional—every shiny you collect now directly contributes toward powerful, meaningful upgrades. Play smart, plan your goals, and build toward your dream team.

🎒 Kits & Ranks Rework

Ranks have been reworked to feel more impactful and rewarding as you climb the ladder.

What’s changed:

• You can now claim your rank’s kits plus all kits below it

• Applies to both Daily and Weekly kits

New structure:

• Daily Kits = Utility-focused rewards

• Weekly Kits = Luxury and premium rewards

Additional improvements:

• Increased home limits across multiple ranks

• Champion and Omega ranks now receive /haste

  • 1-hour mining boost

  • 1-hour cooldown

Ranks should feel like a meaningful upgrade, not just a name tag—and this rework is built to support that.

🎁 Crates Dialed In

Crates have received a balance pass to make them more exciting and better aligned with progression.

New & Updated Crates:

• Great Crate (NEW)
  A non-paid crate tier above the Vote Crate. Possible rewards include:

  • Random Shinies

  • Megastones

  • A chance at an Ultra Key

• Ultra Crate Updates
  Now includes:

  • Shiny Paradox Modifier

  • Ultra Beast Modifier

  These modifiers are highly targeted and designed to reduce the grind when building out shiny Paradox and Ultra Beast collections.

• Master Crate Updates
  Now includes:

  • Shiny Legendary Modifier

Crates won’t be the only source for these modifiers. Our goal is to ensure multiple paths of progression so all players have a fair chance to obtain powerful rewards through gameplay, events, and future systems.

We’re rolling these changes out in stages to make sure each system feels polished and properly balanced before full announcements. You may notice some updates appearing in-game before they’re officially detailed—and that’s intentional.

We want you to experience the changes organically and get a feel for the new direction Otheryia is heading.
